Please note that all service purchases (including online products) are final and cannot be refunded or exchanged. As we provide online content in our membership packages which is accessible to you 24 hours a day, we cannot part refund memberships.

Membership Terms and Conditions

SGPT Membership

SGPT provides a 6-day per week strength program that you can access at your own convenience, membership allows unlimited access to Strength, Restore, Yoga , Conditioning and open gym sessions.

Membership is on a rolling monthly basis with payment made by direct debit. Our gym observes 6 weeks of holidays throughout the year and memberships are priced accordingly to accommodate that. These weeks are programmed as “deload” which means that you can still access sessions and your program but they will be unstaffed. You will be notified in advance of when deload weeks are and of any closures.

Open Gym Membership

gives you unlimited access to open gym sessions, membership is on a rolling monthly basis and can be canceled with 1 membership month’s notice in writing. See below for further cancellation details.

Strong Mutha’s Club

SMC membership is for 46 supervised classes and 6 non-supervised classes per year with unlimited open gym access. You can bring your little one to any supervised class and daytime (before 5pm) supervised open gym session provided they are under your supervision at all times. SLAM cannot be held liable for any damages, injuries, or accidents that happen to children or others as a result of children’s behavior. Children cannot attend unsupervised or evening sessions under any circumstances.

All Memberships

Sessions are held in our gym space except in the event of government restrictions that prevent us from doing so, in this case, sessions will be pre-recorded or facilitated on zoom at SLAM’s discretion. By purchasing from SLAM you acknowledge that no refunds, exchanges or changes to memberships will be permitted in the event of a lockdown, except when offered by SLAM.

Certain sessions will be unsupervised, which means that there is no staff on site, you understand that by accessing our gym at such times that you are solely responsible for your own well-being and safety and that SLAM cannot be held liable for anything that does or does not happen to you or the space around you whilst you are training on your own.

U18’s are not permitted at unstaffed sessions under any circumstances

Before taking part in activities you must fill out a health questionnaire.

Normal membership booking restrictions apply.

Session Booking and cancellation - all memberships

Session booking cancellation policy requires 8 hours’ notice for cancellations to be made via our app by the member. Sessions may be cancelled outwith this time but will be counted as a late cancel.

3 late cancellations or no-shows in a 14 day period will result in an autimatic £10 fee

Cancellation of membership requires one membership month notice in writing to enquiries@stronglikeamutha.co.uk this means that your notice will be taken from your next payment date. Membership fees cannot be pro-rated or part exchanged under any circumstances. Memberships cannot be cancelled whilst on hold or paused. Requests to cancel whilst on hold will be actioned from your next due payment date. Cancellation of your Direct Debit without notice will incur a fee equivalent to 1 month’s membership + an admin fee of £75.

Strong Like a Mutha reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions and withdraw the offer or change our timetable at any time, without notice.

Retreat days, events, and courses

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation 60 days prior to the event - Full Refund

Cancellation 30 days prior to event - 25% Refund

No refunds less than 30 days prior to the event.

Choosing a payment plan means committing to the whole cost of the event or course. Payment plans can't be cancelled and unless the above terms are met you will be required to pay the whole cost of the event.

Changing Facilities and Location

We have changing rooms, showers and a refreshment area in the gym which you are more than welcome to use any time. We also have sofas on the Gym floor which can be used for feeding.

There is free onsite parking.

Health and Safety

It is essential that all clients have been signed off by their GP before starting their exercise programme, we also recommend that all of our clients, regardless of postnatal age, birth and recovery experience, seek out a qualified women’s health physiotherapist and have a check up. There is a probability that exercising will flag up some underlying issues with your anatomy and potential traumas in your body from pregnancy and birth, whilst we are fully qualified and insured pre and postnatal exercise specialists, we are not a physiotherapists and it is useful for all of us to work together in order to help you on your fitness journey.

Lastly we would hope that you have sought us out because you have been touched in one way or another, either by a recommendation about our services, something we have posted online or a conversation you have had with us about what we do. We are passionate about helping and healing bodies and we promise that we will work with you as an individual and offer you the tools that we believe in from our own experience. It’s important that you consider your fitness journey as a long term process rather than a short term goal. There are often a few obstacles that we have to overcome at the beginning of our journey and our goal is to encourage mindful, intentional and safe exercise that will allow you to find freedom in movement, to feel good in your whole body and mind and to live injury and pain free. We will always be open and honest about what we are doing and our programme together is never set in stone, ultimately life will throw some things your way and we will always endeavour to find a way to help you accommodate these things without loosing sight of your journey.
