What is Olympic Weightlifting?
Olympic Weightlifting, commonly referred to as "Oly," is a dynamic and powerful sport that involves two main lifts: the snatch and the clean and jerk. These lifts require a combination of strength, speed, technique, coordination, and flexibility. Oly not only enhances overall athletic performance but also promotes muscle development, improves bone density, and boosts metabolic rate.

Learn to Lift
Our "Learn to Lift" courses are designed to help you master the fundamentals of Olympic Weightlifting. You will learn:
The Snatch: Lift the barbell from the ground to overhead in one continuous motion.
The Clean and Jerk: Lift the barbell from the ground to the shoulders (clean), then from the shoulders to overhead (jerk).
Technique and Form: Proper stance, grip, and movement patterns to ensure safety and effectiveness.
Who is this course for?
Beginners or improvers with no or a little prior experience in weightlifting.
Individuals looking to enhance their lifting technique and strength.
Anyone interested in joining our community and starting their Olympic Weightlifting journey.
Group Coaching
Our Group Coaching is a hybrid offering that combines online group coaching, peer support, and monthly in-person meet-ups to refine technique. You will benefit from:

Peer Support: Connect with fellow lifters for motivation and shared experiences.
Flexibility: Train online with the convenience of your schedule and join monthly meet-ups for hands-on coaching and community building.

1-2-1 Coaching with Lyndsey
Lyndsey, our specialist coach with 20 years of experience, has recently added Olympic Weightlifting to her repertoire. She is particularly skilled in coaching women and provides personalized 1-2-1 coaching sessions. Working with Lyndsey offers:
